Decorations
This page is meant to help you with some DIY ideas for decorating and dressing up the room. Traditionally, decorations used for baby showers are balloons, streamer, baby shower sign, centerpiece and table covers. Put two colours streamers together, twist them around each other and put them on the wall. Put two colours balloons randomly on the wall. Baby shower sign should be up in the center of the wall. Table covers on the table with centerpiece on it. And the last and least thing is food and favors on your table. Here are some more ideas for making it special:
- Spread baby confetti on the tables.
- Decorate with fresh cut flowers.
- Use baby food jars to make candles.
- Fill a baby bottle with water and use it as a weight for a bouquet of balloons.
- Use cloth nappies as place mats. Since you probably have no use for them you can give them to the mum to be as a gift from you.
- Use a baby bottle as flower vase. A daisy would look cute in it.
- Fill small booties with jelly beans. Have your guests take them home as favors.
- Use clear glass bowls with water in them. Add a floating rubber ducky.
- Use dummies or baby keys as napkin rings. This can be pretty expensive so be sure to get some at the dollar shop.
- Gather a bouquet of pink and blue balloons and tie them with pink and blue ribbons. Either attach these to a chair or as the centerpiece containing jelly beans.
